Green Folktales – Revisited


photoThis picturebook is based on J.E.E.'s Eco-Calendar for 2011, Green Folktales – Revisited. It presents J.E.E.-style adaptations of Japanese or world folktales, from the viewpoint of environmental preservation. Through this picturebook, to be read by children and adults, we hope to contribute to making a better Earth environment. The images in this book were created by our wonderful friend, J.E.E. member High Moon. Please enjoy his gentle and heartwarming pictures.

Artwork: Dr. Hiroshi Takatsuki (the environmental cartoonist "High Moon"), a member of the Japan Manga Association, professor at Ishikawa Prefectural University's Institute of Bio-resources Engineering and professor emeritus of Kyoto University.
