Japan Environment Exchange (J.E.E.) 2019 Earth Day Hike

Destination: Jouju-san (236 meters high) also known as Omuro 88
Date/Time: April 21 (Sunday) from 9:00 - 16:00 Showers OK, canceled if heavy rain
Meeting place: in front of Kitano-Hakubaicho Randen Station (on Nishioji-dori)
Meet-up time: 9:00
Transportation fare (Randen): round trip ¥440
Participation fee: ¥500 (JEE's environmental activity fee)
What to bring: There are 88 mini-temples on the route, replicating a famous pilgrimage in Shikoku. Japanese people usually offer 1 yen at each of them (you can too, if you want, but you don’t have to...)
Water bottle, lunch, bag (for trash)

* If you have time you could also visit the World Heritage Ninna-ji Goten Palace garden (admission fee ¥500, entrance is until 16:00).
Another option, the Reiho-kan Museum (garden + museum admission fee, ¥800 in total)
