J.E.E. Eco-Calendar 2016
-- Light and Life --
-
Last year's J.E.E. Eco-calendar asked, "What's Green?"
What's your answer to that question?
-
For this year's calendar, J.E.E.'s 25th, we thought about the question: "Where does Green come from?"
-
The answer is: "Light." Everything in our ecosystem comes from light. It's essential to nature and our human existence. Also, an environment of ever-changing light and shadows allows us to feel relaxed.
-
Natural light is free (we never get billed for it!). In this calendar, we introduce 12 different kinds of light.
-
The pictures for this year's calendar were painted by Mr. High Moon, who has created all of the images for J.E.E.'s calendars over the last 25 years. We hope he will produce many more!
-
This calendar is bilingual. We hope that it is useful for language learning.
-
As usual this calendar includes important environment-related dates. From this year the lunar cycle is shown in color. Also we show the average number of daylight hours for each month, and traditional Japanese seasonal turning-points during the year.
-
After 25 years of producing J.E.E. Eco-calendars, we wonder which have been most popular?
-
