In Japan, tap water is perfectly clean, but elsewhere in the world, every 8 seconds, a child dies from drinking contaminated water. Global companies make huge profits, but create severe problems such as lowering of water tables and ground subsidence; they also build vast dams. On the other hand this film shows local residents making their own water-related businesses and ponds.
