J.E.E. Eco-Calendar 2013 --Happy Taste of Slow Food--
-
This is the 22nd J.E.E. calendar.
-
Everyone craves affluence and convenience, without questioning the uniformity of fast food, neglecting the most important aspect of eating. However, food culture is our heritage, developed over hundreds and thousands of years in coexistence with nature. We at JEE think happiness is truly more important than GNP. Through slow food we can continue to think about what happiness is. We hope from our hearts for the 7 billion inhabitants of this planet Earth to all enjoy the happiness of eating well every day, so in this year's calendar our theme is once again food.
-
The pictures for this year's calendar were made again by our good friend, Mr. High Moon, in a gentle, harmonious and warm-hearted style.
-
Our calendar is different from others, due to its environmental message including environment-related dates.
-
This calendar is bilingual. We hope that it is useful for language learning.
-
The phases of the moon are shown with these symbols: Please take time to look at the stars.
-
Lets move from slow food to slow life, to begin a truly happy year!
