Gathering with Denise Sawyer, a permaculture gardener from an eco-village

Denise Sawyer is one of original pioneer residents of the well known eco-village, Crystal Waters in Australia. In this gathering Denise showed photos of this community and her historic, unique house made of a Victorian railway carriage. Denise talked about how she came to live in Crystal Waters, her 21 years of experience there, and her work experience at Wastebusters Recycling Cooperative in the nearby town, Maleny. She also mentioned a more recent challenge that this community faces: the aging population.
